Harry Callahan: I know what you’re thinking. “Did he fire six shots or only five?” Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Soap – “Guns for Show, Knives for a Pro.”
Leon – “The Rifle is the first weapon you will learn how to use. Because it lest you keep your disntace from the Client; the closer you get to being a pro, the closer you can get to the client.”
Automatics are boring, as in boringly reliable compared to a revolver. Most flavors of revolvers have a silly number of moving parts. Now dont be trying to say a Kel Tec or other piece of crap is going to be as reliable as saw a S&W 627, Kel Tec is garbage, and the performance shop puts outs some decent kit.
Revolvers do have a certain panache to them that an a automatic just cant touch however.
@...Nimbo: um, my revolver has 4 moving parts, and 3 springs. no jams, no missfire. My brothers Colt 1911, spends more time in the shop,(firing pin) and is only good for about 30 rounds at the range before gumming up and refusing to feed.
I was hoping for something funny or witty… but no… no. You want elegance? Use a minigun…
At least use a Dirty Harry quote, goddamn.

I was thinking “Revolvers. There is no way in Hell they can fit this many bullets in at once.”
@...Puulaahi: I have memorised those lines so well it’s embarrassing. Harry FTFW.
Since when are semi-automatics “clumsy” and “random?” What kind of semi-auto’s has this guy been shooting?
Sounds like Roland of Gilead is a bit of a Star Wars fan.

:O
Revolvers have been around since the wild wild west and are obsolete in the modern age.
