Haha oh god I love this. I do this sometimes but not intentionally. And then when I realise that I made some poor guy run like an idiot, I try and give them my best smile as an excuse. Makes me feel awful. I’m not good at being a villain, I know.
@...Ren: nah, you’re not in denial… It’s only passive aggressive if you do it for the express purpose of exercising some form of control over another persons actions…
If you actually do it to be helpful then you are just being helpful… 🙂
I won’t hurry when someone does that for me but I will start talking to the person. I like it when people do stuff like this… holding a door, letting someone into traffic in front of them… the little things that make everything run better.
I do this at work sometimes…. Its fun. It also gives me a good reason to just stand around and shoot the shit.
I think passive aggressive would be holding the door, making them hurry then giving up and walking away so they get to the door right as its going shut. The you hear the “thump” when they hit the door thinking it to still be able to swing wide open. Then they fumble for the handle to get the door open.
hahaha, i do that shit all the time at work for a laugh
lol me too.
Thats just mean.
Hehe. I do this by accident and then feel guilty about it afterwards. Especially if I give up right as they break into a run.

Hmmm…I do this a lot but didn’t realize it was considered passive-aggressive. Maybe I’m in denial.

Turn the tables, limp very slowly toward them complaining about your hip operation.
@...Alte: Lol, I do that too, only not on purpose.
the worst is when you do this out of actual courtesy, then the asshole doesn’t even say thanks. like, wtf?
