It looks like they’ll be able to afford to replace the car, but why doesn’t that type of thing have a weight sensor?

    Shouldn’t be able to park on it period. Even if there wasn’t a roof to crush the top vehicle, there’s a chance your mailman or whoever would park partially over it and get rolled or damaged if you decided to pop out.
