Michael is now a major hurricane, and it may get a bit stronger

Michael likely to be one of the strongest hurricanes to hit the Florida Panhandle.

    this storm is about to pound me pretty hard, I have posts scheduled for the next couple days, but if we’re out of power for longer than that, the queue might get stale.

    It’s pretty easy for me to approve posts from my phone, just not very easy to create them, so if you want to help out, submit some content.

    I’ve already brought in all the trash cans and plants and planks of random wood that were all in my yard, so now all that’s left is the drinking.

    Why do people choose to live in and return to areas that get raped by hurricanes year after year? Or in floodplains? Tornado alley? There are plenty of parts of the Earth where it doesn’t try to scrape you off.

    I’ve been in this city for about 18 years now and have only had one hurricane hit us. the problem my city has is it’s trees, which we’re really proud of, but when a high wind storm comes through it knocks a whole bunch of them down, over a 1,000 of them in this storm.
