    For my 16th birthday my dad got me a job as a dishwasher.

    Well, my first job was at 12 years old. I worked in a household items warehouse. Then, auto parts. I stocked them, I sold them, and I delivered them.

    At fifteen, I took out garbage and cleaned the smoking area at a warehouse. Occasionally they’d help with random spot checks for what they were shipping, which was basically plugging in cable boxes and screwing them into a TV to make sure they all worked.

    Did you have to fiddle with the boxes at all to be sure that basic programming was working correctly or did you just wait until it got to the first load screen?

    Once you hooked it up, it would show a menu, and you could hear the audio for whatever channel it defaulted to. Of the however many I tested over the course of two years, every single one worked.
