Mucinex requires an age check

why did I have to verify that I was 18 to get this?  I mean, sure I popped a couple and got high, but why an age check?

    Maybe it’s too high a dose for kids. Or that most kids don’t have government issued ID cards, and that’s what’s necessary to control the sales of this by logging IDs.

    Or both. FDA = complex but for a reason.

    Is that the kind they use to make meth? This is Florida, after all.

    They might just do it for all Mucinex because Mucinex D has pseudophedrine (meth precursor) in it, and it is just easier to flag them all.
