@... casemods..
You realize that there are probably thousands of companies who have manufactured army men in the past, none of them being exactly the same, don’t you?
Excellent fucking costume.
It looks exactly like an army man to me.
I wonder if he made it out of duct tape. There was a girl in my town that made a prom dress out of various colored duct tape, and it actually came out nice. I wonder if there’s a pic of it in the news archives?
Uh, of course. But that particular interpretation of an Army man is an EXACT copy of the one at Disneyworld… which makes it NOT the “Greatest Halloween Costume EVAR!”
jeez people are pretty harsh on this costume, nevermind the hours it probably took and the fact its something ‘most’ people have never seen before AND that most people would never make something this full of win, they still cus it hehehe.
I bet this is 50 times more awesome than anything your lame ass ever even thought of doing, let alone actually created. Get your hand off it because you have exposed yourself as a knobjockey.
@...mimic: A lot of people on this site that comment probably don’t do/create, etc, anything like the pictures they comment on, but that doesn’t stop them from posting their honest opinions, which is all I am doing…
I give it an A for effort, but as a picture to be commented on, I am also noting what it lacks…
” he was the boogie woogie bugle boy from company B”
WOW! Brilliant!
i’m gonna need a ridiculously large barbecue grill.
Tape some firecrackers and bottle rockets on him and let’s find out!
So friggin sweet…
is dat some 1st Cav?
It’s missing the base that stands them up, otherwise, it would be perfect…without that however, it is not so obvious what it is.
Base or no, still well done. Esp. hands and face.
How? He really looks like a giant piece of plastic.
I’m not trying to dis the costume or effort, but if you really want to be picky, it’s a bit too bright.
This green is not seen in the normal camo like original toy soldiers.
And not having the base adds to it.

…is it just me or are her legs really hairy?
@Mootea
Its just you.
This is amazing. And that’s just a shadow on her leg.
Cool costume.

True, but I have only seen the dark green ones

I couldn’t find the couple that did it here, but I did find this.
@...nyokki:
According to that search, people who do this include a majority of unattractive dorks with little to no taste. Excellent.
Not original at all. You could see that EXACT same costume at Disneyworld 12 years ago. (They were the Army men from Toy Story.)
@...jukaswo: Well, no costume is original. We all copy. That doesn’t take away the win that this costume is.

@...robustion: Yeah, nobody has seen a disney land parade before…or a Thanksgiving parade…or been to disneyland…yeah, nobody’s ever seen this before…

Yeah, I hear what you’re saying. I’m sticking with my knobjockey conclusion though.
