I live about a quarter mile off the Blanco River, downstream from Wimberley. We were dry, but the neighbors got wet. I know a couple people who lost their cars. We were lucky — our power was out for only a couple days.
And my daughter was able to catch a live fish with her bare hands outside our home the next day, so we got a bit of protein out of the deal.
