living like animals stacked on top of each other in a kennel.  what is life like when you live like this?

    I imagine that it would be very much like dorm life. Everything is very communal, everyone is in your business, and you in theirs. Likely a shared bathroom on each floor. Hopefully with plumbing. That staircase gives me nightmares though.
