The only people it discriminates against is atheists, & since they’re all raging assholes.
Fuck them.
Also, dragging humanists, which have never had seen a conflict with their belief & Christianity, into a argument with a false premises shows a complete lack of historical knowledge, considering humanists lead the Protestant Reformation.
god damn atheist not wanting to worship my man in the sky in my “secular” yuk yuk
I’ll get ma jeeezus to then darn non-believers shuck a mucks!
Murica! gad lives here 🙂
Go on Thrawn, make those heathens pay you righteous biggot you :-). What is it about American believers? I live in theocratic monarchy and we don’t have nearly as many bull headed, aggressive religious nut jobs like you. Just can’t get along with anyone? suppose you don’t have to if you have your god given guns
No, America is a continent. The United States of America is a nation. Calling it “America” or claiming it is “indivisible” are as much religious beliefs as the “under god” nonsense, and they’re clearly discriminating against someone’s beliefs, which apparently is a bad thing.
USA is the only country called “America”…kind of like we call the United Mexican States just “Mexico”, or the United Arab Emirates just “The Emirates”. It is a globally accepted shortened name…and has been for over 100 years. Just because a handful of people on the internet (mostly Americans for some strange reason) have an ingrown butt-hair over it will not change it.
Here is a fun fact: Some kid in some school saying “under God”, has never been proven to cause any form of real or even imagined harm to some liberal dumbass across the street, or across the country from where the phrase was said.
How about this as a solution: If you don’t want to say the pledge, or want to omit the “under God” section, then don’t say it, or omit those parts you deem to be offensive. Or if you want to avoid hearing it said by others, then don’t physically be at those locations where the pledge is likely to be said.
Finally, if someone else wants to say the pledge with or without the offensive to you section, how about leaving them the hell alone to do so!
The last time I checked, saying the pledge is covered by the first amendment, just like refusing to say it. Remember liberals, the first amendment works both ways. You have a right to not say it, just like others have a right to say it.
For the record, no I am not a religious nut job. I am spiritual, but not affiliated with any specific religion. Also, I vote Libertarian, and no, I don’t say the pledge as I will not pledge to honor the current corrupt administration and their “SS” style of politics and draconian enforcement. However, I do respect the first amendment rights of those who both want to say the pledge, and who refuse to do so. You libtards should do the same!
