Capote was fascinating.
Watched it right after reading “In Cold Blood”.
Watched Capote and Infamous the same night.
Interesting how two actors can interpret a biographical character in two completely different ways.
Personally the best and most haunting character was in “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead” about two brothers (with Ethan Hawke) that rob their parents’ jewelry store, the whole thing goes wrong which sets into motion a whole series of horrible events right through to a shattering climax.
That film made me an instant fan.
Really a sad loss.

Such a loss – He was such an amazing talent, and sadly another one to fall to drugs. RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman
First saw him in Todd Scholtz “Happiness” years and years ago.
Incredible actor who had so much more to do, such a shame.
I needed to “wiki” him. “Scent of a Woman”, and “Big Lebowski”, are the only movies with him that I’ve watched.
You should watch some more. He’s a revelation.

Boogie Nights. incredible performance.
Also “Doubt”. He was incapable of a bad performance.
Addiction / depression is a bad thing. RIP.
He kinda annoyed me in Twister, but that was a hopeless movie.
That heroin sure performed badly..
Most recent movie I saw with him was Moneyball.

We lost a genius. I liked his work a lot.
Rich & famous? Guess I’ll do some fucking heroin!
Totally, because as we all know rich and famous people are immune to addiction.
