This step well is one of the deepest and largest step wells in India. It was built in 9th century and has 3,500 narrow steps and 13 stories and is 100 feet deep.
And they put a fence around the (not very drinkable looking) water for good measure.
After seeing the movie “The Fall”, which the director insisted wasn’t using any digital location effects, I’ve been trying to figure out where that crazy step well was located.
Y’all are acting like that’s a bunch of steps… it’s got NOTHING on running up and down the Washington monument. The primary school I attended only had four flights of stairs, but we ran up and down them dozens of times a day. Y’all are just lazy. 🙂

You could bring bottled water.
If you get dehydrated easy bring a backpack with a lot of bottled water.
