speaking as a mentally handicapped person, it is my impression that the person who wrote that letter should be summarily shot… after being starved to death while hog tied over an ant hill with her body covered in honey. 😛
I’m almost certain that whoever wrote this is neither female nor a mother. The deliberate signature implying motherhood and mention of children and the use of a pink paper scream “smokescreen” to me. I’d bet actual money that whoever wrote this is probably an unemployed deadbeat dude and a single one without children who’s trying to cover his trail, because if this was an actual mother with kids, wouldn’t she be bothered by the kid in question in the park where she supposedly would take her own kids? Also, no sane mother would ever advise another mother to euthanize her kid.
Or maybe I’m wrong and this was actually a crazy asshole of a mother, in which case I pity her children.

Oh no @... Storminator. The writer of this one screams liberal / progressive with a high possibility of being Athiest. There is nothing Christian about that letter. While I do understand the overall feeling of frustration being experienced by the writer, she went the wrong way in expressing it with the name calling, suggestion of donating body parts to science, and demands of moving.
This same frustration could have been expressed without the negative elements and would have probably gotten better results from the parent of the disabled child.
Either way the writer of this just vomited out a hate filled and vile letter and if there is any justice in the universe, will get her ass ran over by a bus load of Karma.

Personally, I believe the child should not be allowed to be whaling, but Greenpeace or one of those other anti-whale killing organizations should be gotten involved. Maybe a trade embargo or government sanction is the correct response, but a letter to his mother in not going to get the kid to stop whaling, or slaughtering whales. The letter writer is right, or has very acute hearing (with her children) that the noise made by the whaling, the wails of pain and death made by the whales do scare children (if they speak whale and are underwater).
But otherwise, the writer who sounds like a 15 year old boy(!!!!!) with a stuck keyboard key(!!!!!) is suffering from a borderline personality disorder, as whaling is a lot less noisy than the wailing of babies, the whining of dogs, and the bludgeoning of baby seals.
I get why the person was pissed and wrote the letter, but it was the wrong move. Now people are going to be blaming the letter writer instead of dealing with the nuisance child his neglectful family.

actually if anyone ever looked at a news site they would know this was reported about a couple of months back, the letter is real and just like then everyone pays attention to the letter writer and her lack of compassion and NO ONE says anything about the lady leaving her mentally handicapped son outside alone with no supervision

I have a retarded child living adjacent to my back yard. He stands out on his parents deck ALL DAY LONG and groans while walking in circles, carefully balanced on the edge of the hot tub, tapping his head and fiddling with whatever he has in his hand today. Unless the TV is going, I can hear him in my livingroom, through my double pane windows. To be honest, the thought never crossed my mind to complain. I was brought up that in life there are some things you just deal with. So I bide my time, waiting for him to miss a step, fall off the deck and get the retarded knocked out of him on the way down.
