If black americans would not act offended when pasty people use the word, then the word would lose meaning. If they would just respond “Oh well” or “what ever” or “Poor ingroant soul” instead of being offended or getting violent, then it wouldn’t be an issue.

When you call a white american a cracker they don’t get offended or react violently and thus don’t give the word or the person using it any power over them.

Black Americans need to think better of themselves. It seems that they take offense to the word because somewhere deep down they think less of themselves.
