Absolutely beautiful architecture. I cannot express how much I love it. When Frank Lloyd Wright said he wanted to cantilever the main floor out over the falls, the engineers said it couldn’t be done, and that the whole thing would break apart. But Wright didn’t listen and was rightfully praised for his daring design.
…but the engineers were still right. You can see one of the supports they recently installed to keep the whole thing from crumbling.
Still gorgeous, though.
