This has too much of a Nolan-movie-poster vibe, and apart from the destruction forming a star fleet emblem, there’s nothing in it that says “Star Trek” to me.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
That would be subjective. Me, I like having big honkin’ spaceships in my space/sci-fi movie poster. An attractive alien woman wouldn’t hurt, either.
They rarely portray ST-verse cities as having skyscrapers that look like modern ones. And what is with the Matrix jacket?
I thought the jacket was more of a Nazish jacket.
The city seems to be a slightly futuristic London. The Gherkin Tower is bottom right
It make me think of all the alien invasion movies, with earth being over run by a technologically superior race. Which totally throws us out of the ST universe.
