I can’t believe this freaking arguement is still around. Every time a Republican gets an obvious racial attack pointed out it somehow becomes the Liberal’s fault.
Obvious? What’s an obvious racial attack? Past the obvious I mean like using the “N-word,” or other blatant racial attack.

Hmmm, I suppose they can. What I meant was, and you probably knew this, that some things are accepted by ALL people as being racist. Using historically derogatory words for specific races being one of them. However, it seems today if you dare to challenge a person’s policies or actions and they happen to be a minority – and not even a racial minority – it’s racist to those on the left. Take welfare reform for example. To call for it is labeled racist by the left despite more white people being on welfare than black. Don’t like Obamacare? Racist! Don’t believe the president has done a good job? Racist! It’s the whole “dog-whistle” thing. People looking for racism in every single action and word are always going to find it whether it exists or not. They hear the dog-whistle when most people do not. So, no, what’s obvious to rotatebilly up above is not obvious to the majority of people.
The thing that really gives credence to the dog whistle thing is how vehemently conservatives focus on things that affect equality for women, gays, and lower income people.
Look, I was born in the south, and raised in a predominately republican family.
Not every Republican is racist. It’s just that their platform appeals to people who are interested in a white, male, straight, Christian dominated society.

What if they show in a reasonable, logical fashion, that they’re not being racist?

Actually, you really can’t silence the opposition by throwing out racist any longer. It doesn’t have the heft it once had because the vast majority of the country knows that, while racism still exists, America is one of the least racists nations on Earth. Add in the fact that certain people predictably cry-wolf about it over and over and over and you have fewer and fewer people buying it.
I call that progress.
I think the problem we are facing is two fold.
Some people do like to play the race card too much.
On the other hand, certain people say every claim of racism is crying wolf.
When you throw out statements like “USA is the least/most X country there is” I always wonder what you’re comparing it to.
Somehow I doubt USA fares as well compared to western countries, but I’m too lazy to look it up.

I’m openly racist myself. I don’t care. I think because I’ve grown up surrounded by so many cultures I know better than to restrict myself while their racial bias is accepted and used to leverage themselves professionally. What I see are a whole lot of ignorant white people who really only know a few black people and that’s about it. Maybe they know a Muslim guy. If they do they’re probably so extra nice to him it’s unnerving. Know a lot of Vietnamese? Coloureds? Do you even know in Africa (South) Coloureds and Blacks are two different people? Blacks got all the corrupt gov jobs after South Africa got thrown under the PC bus. Native Coloureds got the shaft.
Anyway either accept that you libtards are bigots are come up with a better way to combat the observation than a silly little bastardization of meme and old t-shirts.
