Sin: An act that is designated immoral regardless of whether it’s unfair or detrimental to anyone.
Sin could be more accurately described as harm against oneself or others. Harm against oneself could range from sleeping with a slutty chick to getting a nickelback tatoo. Against other people could be a lack of charity when one has the means to engage in acts of charity or setting a homeless toddler on fire.
Even more accurately it’s an imaginary disease to which Jesus is the cure.
Just like in homeapathy like cures like.

What a load of horsecrap. Explain to me how working on a particular day of the week is harm against oneself or others. Explain how making images of particular people and/or deities causes harm. Why is it harmful for a woman to have sex with someone she’s not married to, but not for a man to do the same?
