And of course, when you tell a feminazi that male characters in comics are as objectified as female ones because they’re all tall, musclebound guys with perfect hair and teeth, they invariably replay: “but that’s totally not the same because musclebound guys are a male power fantasy, not a female idealization! Women’s ideal man is a sweet, nice, funny, emotive guy, not a musclebound Adonis!”
Yeah. Right.
This guys represent what your average healthy male can achieve in 1-3 years of heavy free weight training. With the 2 years applying to 70% and the 1-2 \ 2-3 years to the very talented, or the slightly obese and untalented.
Been at it 2 years now, and beside somewhat higher body fat I think I’ll be able to have the Chris Evans bod in 6-9 months 🙂 Shame I’m 28 now instead of 23 or IMO it would be a 2 year job.
*shrugs* I don’t know… the ideal gentleman i’d like to spend the rest of my life with is completely different from teh sexy i want to see as entertainment.
Cobie Smulders and Scarlett Johansson are in it… but I saw it for Joss Whedon.
And as per Whedon rule #5…. 2/3rds of the way through the movie a major character is implaed.
