It does look a little too clean though. If the snake is lunging one would expect a bit of motion blur, and I’ve never seen a snake sneak up on it’s prey with it’s mouth open like that. I suppose it could have been taken with a high-speed camera, but it’d be hard to make out what’s going on without seeing the rest of the snake.
