    Container ship turned into an aircraft carrier? Why does it have a ski jump runway when it clearly can only use VTOL aircrafts?

    Actually, ski-jump runways help VTOL aircraft achieve flight more easily (taking off with forward momentum is more fuel effective than straight VTOL as I understand it).
