Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.
Technically, this is the fourth Riddick movies, but whatever, I’m psyched for it.

4th films? Then I am missing one.
1) Pitch Black (2000)
2) The Chronicles of Riddick (2004)
3) Untitled Sequel (2013)
Are you counting “The Chronicles of Riddick: Into Pitch Black” the made for tv movie ?
Dark Fury – The Chronicles of Riddick (Animated)
OHHH! I haven’t seen that one. I am totally a fan of these films. Is that one worth seeing ?
absolutely, if you remember, in The Chronicles, Riddick and Tombs have a history, and they reference ‘what happened to his last time’, the animated movies is what happened to them.
spoiler: they all die. mostly.
BTW: Escape from Butcher Bay is possibly the best Movie Inspired Video Game ever. Shanks. Shanks everywhere. . .
I’ve tried to play it a couple times and always get distracted by real life stuff, going to give it a try again soon
Gotta agree, they’re pretty damn fun.
The art direction for Riddick was fantastic; hopefully this third installment will add the story/community focus of Pitch Black back into it, because if it descends any goddamn further into the movies being about how purely badass Riddick, and only Riddick, is, we can basically be looking forward to “xXx: 5,000 A.D.”
everything after pitch black was such shit, only idiots on mcs can watch that garbage
“A vicious attack of vengeance”. What does that even mean.
Not sure how I feel about this yet… Pitch Black was brilliant. The others were good, not great though.
GGGGGAAAAAYYYYYY.
