The Carhartt brand of this jacket is also pretty common among construction workers as well. My question is why are liberals calling him gay…as an insult?
Its funny that the actor playing a gay cowboy in picture 1 is wearing the same coat as the fake cowboy in picture 2 that made hating gay people his last ditch to save a presidential campaign.
Also, many people that are strongly anti gay turn out later to be gay. There have also been studies where participant’s degree of homophobia was determined by answering a survey. The participants were then fitted with a penile plesmograph, a device that measures how erect the penis is, and were shown gay and straight porn. The homophobes had more erections during the gay porn than the people that don’t hate gays.
Liberals (for the most part) don’t think that being gay is a bad thing. Suggesting that Perry might be a closeted gay isn’t an insult, but rather a bit of humor based around how often homophobes turn out to be gay. We really don’t care if Perry is gay or not, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he was.
Word. In winter I see that jacket fairly often in San Antonio; more often if you go out to smaller towns. Hell, one time I went to a restaurant in San Saba after camping and I think everyone but me was wearing it.
It’s easy enough to make fun of any presidential candidate, and there are certainly many clever ways of doing it by showing their hypocrisy or finding something horrible they voted for in their history.
Then there is Ron Paul, who is usually criticized for being out there with nothing to back it up other than he wants to legalize drugs so the whole country will be doped up forever and ever.
It’s a common jacket for ranchers. He’s the governor of Texas. derp.
Liberal ignorance and stupidity: can’t make this shit up.

I have a Carhartt jacket, too. I must be gay. There are way better ways to make fun of and/or criticize Rick Perry.
agreed. But I don’t think he’s worth the effort.
Ron Paul ftw.
