this too shall pass. have you seen those paintings that are made by pouring paint over a canvas on the floor with a central square column? they just pour a certain amount of one color so it falls evenly down the four sides, and then repeat with a different color, over and over.
The point is that the most recent color of paint is the most prominent and dominates the eye, but as successive layers are added, the colors press themselves into thinner and thinner outer borders. By the time ten more colors have been added, the color you started with is a tiny strip on the outside, barely visible next to the more recent ones. So goes the march of memes, my friend- the new shoulders aside the old and demands attention, only to be shouldered aside itself in short order. It’s going to be OK.
