    Tipical ninja sword had a straight double edged blade about 60cm long with about 40cm long handle. It was well fit for concelement and fighting in various enviroinments including tight spaces where longer katana and other swords used by samurai was sub standard.

    Actually a single edged Ninjato. But they more commonly used whatever was around them and used the Samurai’s strict discipline against them. The core of Ninjutsu is adapting to whatever.

    True, but just because ninjas were able to use them doesn’t make it a ninja sword. It’s still samurai sword used by the ninja. Just as ninja using claymor wouldn’t make claymore a ninja sword.
