@dhg,
Yeah, I was referring to to SAR team. All the ones I’ve ever worked with have always gone to great lengths to console the family members of victims, even when it was blatently obvious that the gene pool was much better off without them. I love that these guys had the balls to call it like it is.
dhg4983 and Cargen,
You two aren’t understanding DasMau, it says in the first sentence of that article “French rescuers say” therefore, it’s the French who had the guts to say it (dhg), and it’s not the reporter who DasMaus is talking about when he said “I love that these guys had the balls to call it like it is” (Cargen). The language of the newspaper and the gender of the reporter are irrelevant, as the people calling the climbers idiots were the French rescuers, specifically rescue chief Stephane Bozon.
loool wow this happen when noobs try to act like pro’s loool poor them and the french chief rescue guy had some heavy balls to say that shit loool nice post
Jesus Christ have you never heard of sarcasm? Thanks for spelling everything out for me, tell me more now were the british climbers, climbing up a mountain or down into a chasm? (thats was sarcasm dipshit)

I really doubt anyone believes that you were being sarcastic up there, besides, there’s no way to know on a text-based medium. What you said can’t really be interpreted as sarcasm (hence no one getting that it was sarcasm), it looks more like you’re correcting DasMaus because you misunderstood what he was saying. You could just be civil about this and either admit you were wrong, not say anything, or just tell me in an affable way that your original intentions were sarcastic. Your failure to communicate in no way makes me a dipshit, and your very defensive, ad hominem attack does nothing but make your argument look weak and wrong.
Now, let’s move on.
awesome, finally someone said it
That’s one thing I’ll give to the French, their bluntness is refreshing. This could very well be the best headline I have ever seen.
I think it is a English paper of some kind, usually French headlines are in French as is the byline and the body of the story.

@merthdoft
They must be British mountain climbers.
Thanks merthsoft, I’m glad to see that there’s at least one person at mcs sober enough to understand what I’m trying to say
