My boss described this movie as “disturbing.”

So I went to see it.

And it was.

    ooo I really dont like what they do with the hammers !!!!!
    I really thought american history X was bad but this movie really gets to me, another on is ichi the killer, both pretty messed up

    It’s good. Stylistic too.

    I prefer Ichi.

    Also Election and Election 2. And Eye in the Sky if you’re into Asian movies or just good movies and don’t mind reading subs.

    Great film. You should check out the other two films in the Vengeance Trilogy, Mr. Vengeance and Lady Vengeance. Also if you like Kill Bill watch Lady Snowblood.

    I rented this movie upon your suggestion, unknown, and I have to say: holy crap. It greatly exceeded my expectations. True to the comments above, it is disturbing, it is a twisted story line, but what really slays is the cinematography… the one fight scene down the hallway is a masterpiece, and the flashbacks are so well done. Next up is Lady Vengeance.
