As much as a huge fan of the Batman as I am, I have to admit that this would probably be how the “fight” goes. Logan wouldn’t give Bats time to prepare. He’d just hunt him down, eviscerate him, and leave the carcass in an alley.
Well Wolverine ages very slowly and Batman is looking pretty haggard in the physique there so let’s assume this is in like 40 years and the Batwalker has flown out of frame.
I think it would start with Wolverine slashing at Batman and Batman using his usual forearm things to block it and lock Wolverines claws up. But he’d be really surprised when Wolverine’s claws sliced his arm right off.
Yep. That looks about right. Except that this wouldn’t be Batmans style… I doubt he’d try to go toe to toe with Wolvie… Even if he is the goddamn Batman…

There’s no point in being serious about anything in comics.
Batman is the world’s greatest detective. I’m sure that he would know Wolverine was coming for him before he actually had to fight. And I’m sure that Bruce Wayne could afford gauntlets or something. That would even the fight out real fast.
Batman has fought and won against far better opponents than Wolverine. He actually has held his own against Superman a couple times.
I’m also basing it off of Wolverine from the 80’s and early 90’s, when I still read X-Men. Back then, his healing factor took hours or even days to completely heal. I guess he’s way more powerful now, which is what comic book writers do when they don’t have any ideas.
That’s by Ryan Ottley, the artist for Invincible. It’s from his deviantart gallery.
It’s like The Prestige all over again.
VS? Vs implies fighting… that’s more like Batman getting destroyed by wolverine.
I admire Wolverine’s finesse with his claws. He managed to cut entirely around Batman’s left eye.
you can’t teach that kind of claw mastery
Eyeball.
Mmmm…Batman on the half shell! Or better yet, a half rack of Batman ribs! 😉
Oh, wait one more: You could say he’s only half the man he used to be!
Batman is alright now.
…all…right?…HA!

the best part is how batman HATES being called “bub”.
I think The Goddamn Batman could hold his own against basically a guy with knives strapped to his hands.

Possible, but Bats has knocked Superman around a bit too. I’d give them both even odds.

@The Matrix: Rebooted:
you can’t possibly be serious when you boil Wolverine’s powers down to “basically a guy with knives strapped to his hands”.
You can’t kill wolverine. Batman would be screwed. I’m sorry. It’s true.

I’m going to have to say Picard, if only because he was more of a diplomat.
