Is this a real world gun?  used anywhere by the military?  or just by gun nuts?

    Its the gun from the Resident Evil 2 movie that Nemisis carried. This is most like a test shot to make sure the muzzle flash is visible on film.

    Well hello everyone, im prety sure that this is a General Electric mini gun, and it looks as if it is firing rifle amunition…perhaps 7.62? so recoil would be very limited, noting but a rapid rate of fire.
