yeah some…thing comes falling down into the water next to Coney.
*OBVIOUS SPOILERS*
“The lovers turn the camera towards the fairgrounds and the pier, and an object can be seen crashing into the sea on the right-hand horizon.”
“After the ending credits have completely run through, garbled radio static can be heard with the phrase “It’s still alive” played in reverse”
and theres some interesting stuff in the viral section, about how if you gave them your email address, they sent out a sonar image of some deep sea trench type activity…
and theres a manga prequel, close to the bottom of the page
I don’t know who to believe on this one, god damn, my comic guy says its like godzilla [crapy recent american one] meets blair witch but other of my friends say that its worth a watch. I am not a fan of lost or that crappy 6 degrees thing, I am also not a fan that JJ has had a stab at nearly everything of late [trek, wolverine etc.] Tiki what did you find so awful about this?, did you enjoy Tim Burtons new film?
I thought the movie was great. I would have preferred a vastly different design for the monster, but it worked okay. I loved the little flea things, though.
However, my girlfriend was like, “what the fuck, it was cool, but like, what the fuck was that, Joe?” And I completely see how some people would not enjoy it.
I loved it, the cinematography was above excellent, and the audio editing was incredible, This is the first Movie I’ve seen since Children of Men to truly immerse you. Story is lacking, however, as there is no explanation of anything
Also felt too short, when it ended you were left saying “Is that It?”
Beginning was too long, getting too far into the characters for them not to be really explored in the movie
i think if you look at it like a movie, then yes it was dissatisfying. But if you take it for what it was supposed to be, then its brilliant! It takes everyones expectations about what a “movie” should be and throws them out the window. You only know as much as they did. Thats such a great concept the more you think about it. I liked it cause it made me think and im sure everyone who saw it will be thinking about it for quite some time
I enjoyed it. I did suffer from some mild motion sickness throughout, but I liked the movie a lot.
And as far as there being no explaination, I don’t really guess you can expect an explaination from someone’s home movie on something like that. It was just an observer’s point of view while the city was coming down around them. I found the crab/ flea thingies the most horrifying, though… that noise they made, oh MAN!
Jason (Mike Vogel) can be seen wearing a Slusho t-shirt in the movie trailer. It’s visible when he leans toward the camera to ask if anything can be seen from the roof after watching the news broadcast. Slusho is a drink from J.J. Abrams’ show “Alias” (2001) as well as this film’s codename.
Also the sound they made made me LOL. loved the movie. Gonna have to go see it again to see the thing while they are at coney island though and the end credits. i went to the late show and just wanted to go home after it was over, the begging was way to long but the rest of the movie was great. i agree with AAK15 . also its not meant to give you answers its meant to leave you thinking.
No, it’s meant to entice you to watch in the vain hope that you might actually figure out what the hell is really going on, like EVERY OTHER PROJECT JJ “give me your money, suckers” Abrams has done. Add to that the fact that this movie is giving thousands of people severe motion sickness because it was apparently filmed by an epileptic on crack drinking red bull, (which i’m sure jj did on purpose knowing full well what would happen and loving it because it was just another inside joke for him and his douchebag friends), and you’ve got just another overhyped piece of shit from an overrated director. Fuck this movie.
P.S. Lost sucks ass.
And the only thing you should be leaving thinking is “why did i just spend 20 bucks to watch 2 hours of piss poor camera work?” Or, “why are my shoes covered in vomit when i’m still sober?”
I want some answers, please thanks
Saw the movie last night, AMC Loews Cherry Hill, New Jersey
Awesome shit.
i was left speechless by that movie. amazing.
your right though, answers would be amazing right now.
aparently there was something falling from the sky when they were on the ferris wheel? I missed that
