    I know that’s supposed to scam people who use that ATM, but I find the images rather… non-explicative.

    The fake faceplate scans your card as you use it. The fake brochure holder has a camera that records the pin number as you enter it.
    If that’s not immediately obvious, then you are not sufficiently paranoid for modern society.
