The most amazing trick Republicans pull, is they trick unemployed uneducated whites to vote for the interests of the rich and ultra-rich. They offer the poor that “lottery ticket” dream that, once they do somehow get rich, they’ll pay no/low taxes on that wealth. (That, and they somehow associate abortion with their fiscal policy, to wrangle in the tunnel-vision Christians.) It’s brilliant. You’re sitting there, barefoot and simple in a trailer park, and you actually think tax cuts are going to help your interests.
