Yeah, put SPOILERS after the effin spoilers. Dick.
I already figured that out two weeks ago, and learned for good last week. I also suspect that River Song killed the Doctor. It’s why she’s in prison.
well duh. that’s been obvious since the first time she ever mentioned she was jailed for killing “a very good man” – though it fails to explain why she wouldn’t remember it in her future as a witness to the same event… she seemed awfully surprised
Remember, it’s all out of order for her and the Doctor both. She didn’t know she killed him because she hadn’t killed him yet and left it out of the book (assuming the book also has her future and isn’t just her past that she uses to sync up where she is with the Doctor) so she’d be surprised when she saw him killed to preserve the perceived timeline. Same as how the Doctor, now knowing he’s to die has to preserve the perception of his demise so that the timey wimey wibbly wobbly thing doesn’t come undone.
This whole time I’ve been confused because I thought this was about River Tam.
