Yeah, I’ve experienced this a few times. Things I remember being great: Lite-Brite, GI Joe, The first Batman movie (and trading cards), that robot with the letters on it’s chest, seeing Jurassic Park on opening night, Creep Show.
My childhood was across the late 80s, early 90s, so it’s half and half of both. Had Speak and Spell, Gumby, and Atari (from a garage sale). Also remember my gameboy color.
The young kids who owned a NES are old enough to drink.

I never needed the speak and spell. I was born in the late 80’s but we had a lot of the toys seen in the upper half because I had two older brothers. The first toy I remember of this nature was an NES with Super Mario Bros. Nostalgia’d!
oh man, speak & spell brings me back!
I feel like an ass now. Not my fault. I’m a youngster.
Although I did have the Gumby toys
get with the times grandpa
I won a Gameboy Color at my High School graduation party…
I don’t remember mine

FUCK YES.
Light Bright. The commercials made it look so cool with all the amazing designs, but then you get it and it’s a crapload of work to make those.
Grandpa, what are you doing on 4chan, you fucking pedophile.
