Well, thats a 69 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 428. Curb weight ~ 3600 lbs with probably an underestimated 355 hp and 440 lb/ft of torque. 0-60 in 5.7 sec and the 1/4 in 13.9 at 103 mph. Now that’s a little faster than your Honda, Toyota, and even Infinity G37. Don’t get me wrong, i have a honda crx si i love, and one of my dream cars is a G series coupe, but don’t hate on good American muscle. Throw some non bias-ply tires on there and i bet it’ll be even quicker and handle quite well.
BTW, Your 08 G37 Sport 6MT package weighs in at 3668 lbs. It lays down 330 hp and 270 lb/ft of torque and runs 0-60 in 5.3 seconds and the 1/4 in 13.9 at 103. It also only pulls a 0.89G on the skidpad.

Ok, I can understand the bitching back and forth but I have to set a few things straight. That car is indeed a 1969 mustang. BUT it is not a 428. It is infact a 429cid 385 series big block car that has aluminum semi-HEMIspherical combustion chambers. There was a full hemi version of the engine for nascar and those had intake ports so big after porting that you could see the piston from the top when the valve was open. I’m sure there is a story on it on wiki. There was a very low production number of these cars. Old or new and performance numbers really mean nothing to me. I like what I like and the boss 429 is in my top 10 list of cars of all time.
