Because the best way to fight religion is through evangelical atheism.
Hardly the same. Organizations must have the same right as anyone else to advertize. No atheist is going door to door or hanging atheist banners in court or in school.
How do you suggest we fight religion?
Why do they have to fight it at all? If you don’t believe, why do you care?
Because you keep demonising us in the media, remember? Stop poking and we’ll stop fighting back and then you can back to your invisible sky wizard and we can back to being useful.

The Abrahamic religions are misogynistic hate groups that endorse slavery. In fact, if you are to read the Bible, you’d see it’s principles, rationalizations, motivations, demands of and punishments bestowed by God upon His followers, you’d see, even if you refuse to admit it, that its probably the most anti-American novel ever written. It espouses a Dictatorship over Democracy, Communism over Capitalism, slavery over freedom. Women are chattel, mere property to be listed amongst a man’s possessions. Etc, etc.
Religion is the greatest stultifying factor in human development as a society. There is no argument against this and the feel-good warm fuzzies a few billion ignorant people receive hardly outweigh negative impact belief in an invisible giant has on the populations of Earth.

I noticed that atheist never dare to point their criticism directly toward Muslims, but Christians are fair game. Kind of like PETA members that only protest directly against old women who wear fur, but never against leather clad bikers.

Very good, that’s a star. Now do something public like protest outside a Mosque, making a Facebook page or a billboard with your name on it. That would really show belief in your statement.
I disapprove of each equally. From what I’ve read, Muslims and Christians believe in almost exactly the same thing as Muslims anyway. The same god by different names, and with only small differences regarding things like prophets and messiahs.
I don’t go around publicly protesting any religion, people are free to believe what they want, the only reasons I argue in a more anti-Christian way than anti-Muslim, is because Christian’s tend to start more the arguments with me (usually because they are more likely to be trying to aggressively convert people), and because I know more about Christianity. (I’ve read the Bible (King James Edition), but only read the summaries and comments of those who have read the Koran, never having read it makes it a lot harder to poke holes in.)
I also love to poke holes at Christians who push their faith on me. I agree Christians tend to start more arguments defending or promoting their faith, but that is where it ends. Muslims have a tendency not have much of a dialogue, they just fucking kill you.
Islam is the only major religion where it dictated their “sacred” text to kill unbelievers and those that leave the religion. Don’t just read the Koran (which is bad enough), also read the Hadith which is their jurisprudence.

There’s that. To be fair, it’s saying people who believe in other gods, not people who don’t believe in any gods. Those were the actual dictates to all people at all times. There are other examples where a particular group of believers killed some other group of nonbelievers, but those are stories, not commands.
That was Old Testament, not New Testament. Though I am not a Christion, Jesus did preach about Love and Forgiveness which changed many of the aspects of the old teachings, like “Those without sin, may cast the first stone”, almost all Christians follow the words of Jesus than the Old Testament. Whereas almost all Muslims follow the commands as dictated by Mohammad, which are extremely bloody.
More to the point, when was that last time a country’s government condemed a person to death for violating Deuternomy? Now guess how many Muslim governments executed people for violating the Koran or Hadith just last year alone.
The 10 Commandments were OT, and they say they follow those. I know, the Christians get to pick which parts of the OT they like. I’m not offering an opinion one way or the other on that. I’m just telling you that your statement is not true. It IS dictaed, by God, to kill nonbelievers, and those who leave the religion, in their own sacred text.
Point taken, but going by modern behavior, who is more likely to kill you and your family because you are a non-beleiver, a Christian or a Muslim?
