Don’t like the zombies in this show, or the way they deal with them. It’s all: “Blaaaargh, AAaaaaargh” :walk: “Boom” :headshot:
Too boring. At least zombies from Zombieland and 28 X Later had the common courtesy to chase after you and die in more interesting ways.
That’s the point, zombies are meant to be used as an environment, not as the main antagonist. That’s where they’re at their best.
They weren’t the main antagonist in 28 Days later.
Those weren’t zombies in 28 Days Later though, the director said they weren’t intended to be zombies and they don’t meet any of the zombie criteria (they do bite but it’s because they’re angry not because they’re hungry).
I like fast and slow zombies, they’re both terrifying in their own way.
Its a good show but it took the whole season to get to the plot which is kind of lame.
I love this show! I hated the first episode because the horse died. I was so mad. but besides that I really like the story line.
The best part is that there is no canadians 😀
They sure made a big deal out of that horse in the promotions.
thought it was wonderful because, sure the shows pace is slower than reading the comics, but its pretty great. THEN they go to Center of disease control. bad form, jack. but yeah so far its not TOO bad.

Annnnnnnnnd….the show is over. The 6 episode first season is done. The writers have been fired and the 13 episode second season won’t be coming around until OCTOBER! Fuck AMC for being douchebags!

Kirkman told tvguide.com that this week’s report in deadline.com was “premature,” and said “It’s kind of unfortunate that it’s being reported that our writing staff has been fired because that’s not the case. … It makes Frank look bad. I don’t think Frank wants it out there that he’s just firing people off of a successful show.”
According to Kirkman, what really happened was that Darabont’s “go-to guy,” executive producer and writer Charles “Chic” Eglee (‘Dexter,’ ‘Dark Angel’) chose to leave the series after Darabont decided to stay on for Season 2. The original deal had been that Darabont would be showrunner for Season 1 and then move on, leaving room for Eglee to take over.”
