Amazing. And I don’t know what those guys looked like but the goggles and the pistol thing look steampunk to me. I know they aren’t but you’re like two details away from looking like a steampunk Confederate air cav guy. I have no idea what I’m talking about. You rule.
It started out as a steampunk outfit when I made the aviator’s cap and gun, but then I saw all the sixth form goths running around dressed as steampunks so wanted to be different, hence an alternate 1920s, something I’ve decided to call bakelite-punk
Wait, didn’t the North kick the Confederates asses back in the Six Day War or something? I know it was about slavery, or rhubarbs pie recipes or some big deal.
A pistol would need a pressure gauge when it runs on compressed air. Oh wait, you said that. conventional firearms are not a good idea when your standard mode of transportation is a large sack of explosive hydrogen.
As others have suggested it’s from alternate history books, but and amalgam rather than just one. Inspirations included Harry Turtledove’s books and Crimson Skies as gor said, but also Hugh Ashton’s “Beneath Gray Skies”. Mr Ashton was particularly impressed; beneathgrayski.es/?p=966

What? oh.
Is this from some sort of alternate history book? Also, why would a pistol need a pressure gauge? Does it run on compressed air?
I’m not sure if it’s something specific, but this looks it could have been from one of Tuttledoves books or the “Crimson Skies” universe.
BTW, nice dog.
she sure is. It’s impossible to take a photo in our house without a dog magically appearing

Very nice.

Very nice, I am wondering the source though

Nicely done on the pistol.
Cheers. One of my better creations
… and I should add it’s for sale, along with the rest of the outfit (and all my other outfits regular readers might remember) if anyone is interested.
Baby girls are nice to have but kinda expensive
