“A supersonic transport (SST) is a civilian supersonic aircraft designed to transport passengers at speeds greater than the speed of sound. The only SSTs to see regular service were Concorde and the Tupolev Tu-144.
(…) The Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum in Germany is the only place in the world where both the Concorde and the Tu-144 can be seen at the same time.”

Why FAIL?
Commercially, both of these transports failed.
I actually had a chance to go to Sinsheim this past summer and go up inside the two planes. What amazed me the most was the difference in relative technology in each. The electronics in the Russian Tu-144 looked like it had been cobbled together from WWII era parts. Both were very tight on space… And tilted so much it made walking in them a real challenge. Cool though!
