    This stuff is so pre-Bush. Nobody cares about rights anymore and swearing to protect the constitution means nothing.

    The thing is, few people who champion it actually read it so it takes on a new life of implied and assumptive meaning to different people along with the implied duties and responsibilities of protecting said document.

    Also, I’m never one to hide my disdain of Bush, but he’s hardly alone in the whole “eroding civil liberties” department.
