I can’t hate on a dog. Aussies are my second favorite breed.

I hand feed my lab every other day.
Since he’s my service dog, the hand feeding helps to build a stronger bond. He realizes that he gets his food from me (food is his big training aid) as well as the added bonus of making sure he stays desensitized from anyone grabbing his food / toys / mouth etc.
I get a lot of jackasses who just walk up and started trying to fuck with him, even though he has a service dogs vest on.
I have a cousin in Iowa that trains service dogs. She constantly complains that people keep trying to pet or give the pups snacks. A lot of banks, pharmacies, etc…any place w/ a drive thru keep dog bones on hand. I guess most people just don’t know not to.
