He’s so pretty, never seen one like this before.
It’s a Muscovy Duck; we had a mated pair, on the farm, when I was a kid.
Hopefully the past tense of the word “lived” doesn’t mean duck ended up in somebody’s stew pot, eh?
He was so friendly that they couldn’t eat him, so he lived happy & free for a couple of years until a fox got him in the end.
Then it died, it died, it died.
Muscovy ducks are the greatest ducks ever. like the nicest dudes.
