He could of resigned, or blown the whistle or both. But it was easier to “push the button” and piss and moan later. Remember 15 people died in that explosion.
They would have replaced him, and whistle blowing would have ended his career; first they would have down played the danger he revealed and then they would have destroyed him and his integrity. To think he even had a chance is naive.
Well as long as he can sleep at night eh? Not naive old son…..actually youre right. Its silly of me to expect someone to put other peoples safety before their own career. I’ll get my coat.
That an its an English owned rig, and alternitive energy cant work at this time without OIL you think those big wind turbines lube themselves , if they are not oiled every week the stop working, soloar panales are made with oil by products so are your shoes and most everthing we use including your computers.
the minor part of oil is used to produce goods (about 5% of the oil extracted, for example, is used for plastics)… and they last long, and you can recycle them. the major part of the oil is burnt away for transport or energy… or in the sea
@sleepyjoe2356:
Shut the fuck up. You write in caps lock, which is equally as bad as improper grammar, and you failed to address his factual based argument.
In short: FUCK NO!
WOW
Fucking morons.
Wait
Did something happen to the Deepwater Horizon rig?
I heard they had an accident.
Yeah, somebody spilled something and a few people got burned.
I’m sure they cleaned it up pretty fast.
By this time they must have plugged it. That was over a month ago.
He knew, and he still carried on….Just following orders. Works everytime.
It is literally impossible for him to do anything about it on his own if his superiors don’t agree to it.
It is literally impossible for him to do anything about it on his own while the rig was in the process of exploding.

“We follow orders, son. We follow orders or people die.”
Oh, wait…

Spell check, proper punctuation, and proper grammar. USE THEM.
I believe that the rig was a US/Swiss owned operation that was leased by BP, not owned.
Think you will find you can make all those things using bio products, you not heard of sunflowers and rapeseed?

Well it is hard to argue when you have to interpret what it says.
His facts are irrelevant. The argument isn’t about the morality of drilling for oil.
