ToR is taking too long. I’ve played both, GTA4 doesn’t work well online and doesn’t give u a fraction of the space and freedom this one does. This is really worth having a closer look
I read somewhere that we might not be able to get this in Australia, something about them not providing local servers. Anyone know any more about this?
The customization on it is great, though the fact that some of the aesthetic looks is tied to progression is a bit annoying.
Given that it’s pretty pvp-oriented, some griefing is to be expected, but it’s a bit biased – unintentionally – in favour of those who play as the ‘cops’. This is in part due to the – to me, at least – relatively poor handling/controls for the driving aspect of the game.
Run over some pedestrians or street signs if you’re a ‘crook’ and your wanted level goes up [relatively quickly to boot]. Reach a certain threshold and you’re fair game. Do the same thing as a ‘cop’ and your prestige [their version of the crooks’ wanted level] goes down, making you fairly ‘safe’.
All that being said, it’s a decent game, just not my flavour.
I don’t think I’ve played a game on this computer even once.
GTA4 online kicked ass until the fucking idiots modded it once it hit PC version. That ruins online games so I’m not sold on this until I know thats not going to happen again.
Guess you haven’t played GTA4 yet.
Plus I boycott EA.
Plus the best game ever will be The Old Republic

australia does not have 18+ rating for games (???) so games that are too graphic won’t be released there. Like Left 4 Dead 2 for example

i think the bias is intentional to encourage more ppl to play as cops. most would go for the crooks otherwise
This looks soooo bad. You need to start playing some quality games.
I think it looks amazing.
I just wish it was for consoles and not PC. 🙁
