Oil got expensive enough that ours is viable (it costs a lot to get it out of the sand).
Alberta holds up the rest of the country with its wealth. There’s no provincial sales tax there. It has lots of educated Caucasians.
We’re fucked semi-long term with the health care thing though since a third of the country will be dependent on it and in their last years (when it really gets used) per person plus another third being too young to work. That leaves a third of the country to work and pay for everything. The math doesn’t work out at all.
“Ideal for school, work or play” … I wonder what kind of “play” they were thinking about?!
Thinking? Read close it says it’s Canadian… enough said.
How’s your economy?
Ours is thriving. 🙂
