Guns in movies – not a big deal.
I don’t mind your posts that wouldn’t fall under a “camwhore” tag. Unfortunately 9 out of 10 do, there’s nothing interesting or original.
It’s always another shirt that sometimes you didn’t pay for, Tiki has even tossed some of your posts in the trash bin specifically stating he does not support you boasting theft and then posting it online. Everytime I see your posts or comments, your always in the negative rating. In MCS+ I have seen your image desecrated quite a few times with pretty harsh comments, but it’s not always uncalled for. I don’t care about the who or the why, I just prefer [MCS] to be “troll free”.
What does that have to do with my comment on guns in movies not being a big deal?

it doesn’t relate to the first comment, I guess it just reminded me that I wanted to say something. I don’t take any exception to your opinion about the post and I’m cool with that. The freaky avatar adaption pic, interesting for sure. Modding out pc cases, way cool i’ve built some beasts myself. It just seems to be that sometimes folks are trying to start a flame war. My apologies if it sounded like I was criticizing your comment.

That surprises me. Both my QA’s (albeit full size not compact)have a decocker button on the top of the slide which will disable the firing pin until the slide has been “slighty” racked (by a few millimeters). A trigger pull will do nothing at that point, even if a round is chambered. The “AS” model is more double-action/single action. They still have the same decocker button but that just makes the first trigger pull a 12-pound pull to arm the pin then the rest are like 6-pounds.
The Raffica is quickly becoming my favorite sidearm in MW2.

I’m currently using a Dagger 9MM replica (Beretta 92FS) from the 1996 Romeo & Juliet movie and load it with Luger 135gr Hydra-Shok rounds. NO BIG DEAL!

The single most prone to FTF/FTE failure polymer pistol I have ever seem. A $100 pos Hi Point was a better life saver than Walther P99.
thats a negative, absolutely no feeding or ejection failures with thousands of factory new rounds and no cleaning (clean them around 3K rounds). Had 2 squibs with reloads, thats all. They are extremely reliable and break down as easy as a glock for cleaning.
YMMV. But the one I had was the only gun I have the did not meet my satisfaction. I was a big polymer fan and own hand full of different brands. Walther P99 and P22 are the two I do not miss at all to get rid of.
I was very happy that I traded my P99 for a Steyr M40A1. At that time it was a down trade for value, but now to look back, it was the single best trade I have did.
I dig the old Walthers. I need to find a P38 to go with my P1, but I won’t spend any money on their polymer gun any more.
looking into the Steyr now. I do like they have a .357 sig version, and have never seen their handguns before. At the moment only familiar with their unmistakable bullpup design BR.
I just missed a chance to get a .357sig barrel for my Steyr. Price was high consider what the gun was selling for 2 years ago. But it probably be my last chance to get them. I’m coming down a .357sig bug right now. I’m working on either a Sig226 in 40/357sig or CZ75 40 (with custom made .357sig barrel).

Have you fired the .357 sig rounds before? We changed a barrel on a glock .40 to .357 , we REALLY liked the feel of it, having a higher velocity and a nice “crack” to it. Lookin at the numbers it seems to have a bit more knockdown power as well. I don’t own any conversion kits yet but i’m pretty sure the rounds are a bit more pricey.
I own a Walther P22 that I bought for my wife to keep in the house when I am at work at night. Its the only gun I own that she will shoot. She is afraid of the recoil of my Springfield XD .40 and she won’t go near the 12 Gauge or the Bushmaster Ar-15, chambered for .223.
does it have a mag disconnect? My CA version requires it, so even if it’s chambered you can’t fire the round without a mag in the well. Just another chip away on 2nd amendment rights for california. As of 2006, all auto-loaders submitted for CA approval must include the disconnect.
It can be viewed as an added safety measure, but also a hindrance if you need to use that round in the middle of a mag change. Even this little gun is a good defensive option, them .22’s get nasty with a headshot. Once the slug enters the skull it just keeps bouncing around in there.
No on the mag disconnect. I have the shorter barrel version in the Military green color. I keep one in the chamber set in single action with the safety on, so all she has to do is pop the safety, point and shoot.
As far as california, DON’T WALK AWAY, RUN! That is the most liberal state in the country. Get the hell out of there bro!
Mine is also the “OD Green” version, short barrel. No kiddin on the CA laws. At LEAST I think we have a good shot of getting Bill Hunt into the Sheriff position in next month’s election for Orange County. He’s pro CCW, spoke in DC in favor if the second amendment. I met the guy, real down to earth and advocates law abiding citizens ability to carry a concealed weapon. Have ya seen Walther’s new PK380? It’s basically our P22 cambered for .380 auto. That would be a fantastic conceal carry. On the downside, i’ll probably have to go out of state to get one.

also a little fact that i’m sure most don’t care about, if the slide is slightly tapered in the front like most these pics it’s a 9mm. If the slide is not tapered like the image with agent smith, it’s chambered for .40S&W Only Smith&Wesson’s copy (SW99) had a .45ACP option.
M&P 40 is what I use at work, I have a Norc 1911 knockoff at home. Either way, I take a sks over any uber pistol when SHTF.
I believe my pops has the same or similar 1911 knockoff, shot it a few times and hey it works. Haven’t messed with the M&P yet, a friend had a springfield XD (whatever model sold in 2007) and somehow was able to jam the slide recessed into the frame, causing the frame to bow out and couldn’t even separate them with a vise! I guess bad luck in his part, had to RMA it to replace the frame. And I agreed a BR is a must for Z-Day.
