You knwo, the ending of that comic was pretty fucking lame and stupid. They just laugh and buddy up. The guy made Barbara a cripple for a life then humiliated her, and Batman just stands there. Real nice work.
He cracks Batman up. It speaks volumes about the parameters of their relationship up until that point and the absurdity. Ya he crippled Barbara Gordon. So? He also killed a Robin and countless others. The whole comic was about his justification to himself and he makes up this elaborate back story about his one bad day. He’s nuts and when he tells the joke about the flashlight bridge Batman finally realizes how stupid it is to fight crazy person.
The aloha shirt is part of the gag when he shoots Barbara Gordon.
USBUTT: Thats the other thing. Joker NEVER made Batman laught. NEVER. And that’s why Joker kept on rampaging.

The Aloha shirt is dignified by the Joker, it only contributes to make the comic even better (which is, really, about how the Joker and Batman are crazy nuts both).
BTW, did you notice neither Joker nor Batman are referred as such on the whole story?
So much ghey. My fix has yet to have been fixed this morning.
Wait, is that coffee or tea?

Mag….
It doesn’t make me unintelligent that I don’t get off on comics. I far prefer porn for my intellectual stimulation.
oh man, on one hand, mag is right, this is one of the ultimate comics to read or own…but then egnilk mentions porn and my mind just melts a little…
fuck, time for some barbra gordon / joker rule 34 action
also, it’s coffee if I remember correctly
Then someone better have caught that bitch on her way down so as to save the precious coffee.

Is he wearing a aloha-shirt?
I guess he can get away with that, he is one of the greatest villains of all time after all.
The ending was the best part!

Alan Moore is my hero.
One of the greatest stories ever.
Batman laughs at the end, but I’m still not sure why.
I don’t know where this is from, but it isn’t Killing Joke. A flashback from another book, maybe?
