I try to be the Buddhist in my garden/home as much as as I can. I live in harmony with many spiders, bees, rabbits, squirrels, even the odd raccoon or skunk. Hornets and ants, however, can go to hell. I use chemical warfare and a doctrine of Total War whenever possible. These are insects that understand warfare, and they deserve no mercy.
If you garden….wasps are your best friend. They’re ravenous predators and LOVE to kill caterpillars just for fun. I keep them around. Last year, however, I had to spray every one of them that I saw because our son had just started walking and stepped on one… 🙁 Sad kid was sad…and so was dad.
These and mosquitoes should burn in hell.

I see this as justification for owning a flame thrower (and an asbestos suit).
Got any plans to make a home made one? I’ve always wanted to try out the super soaker method
Goddamned protestants.
