Apparently it’s a 6-string (normal) electric guitar plus a 4-string electric bass. I’ve never seen one before. I know Jimmy Page played a 12-string plus 6-string double-necked guitar. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_neck_guitar
that’s an electric guitar with a 4 string electric mandolin. overly complicated- but nicely done. i like the scalloping of the upper frets on the guitar. i wonder what kind of band this is used in.
oh, and John Paul Jones had the triple neck (three octave) acoustic mandolin. that’s what is used on “Battle of Evermore”.
storminator – that first JPJ pic you linked to is actually a mandolin/mandola/bouzouki tripleneck. Still cool though 😀 – I know his first 6/12/mandolin tripleneck was made by Manson Guitars, though I’m not sure if they also made the successive ones for him.
wow. i’m pretty fucking lost here. is that a Ukelele? a mini bass? what’s the antenna for? the lights at the bottom?
Does it go up to 11?
