I’m happy to announce that PleaseLink.me is back up and running, posting a new and interesting link once an hour. While I was cleaning that site up and fixing things I made a pretty stupid mistake and made an update statement on one of the tables with no “where” clause, so it nuked the entirety of that single site’s options table. That one goof somehow broke the hashed passwords on all the sites, something that was extremely frustrating to track down and figure out. Luckily I have a few recent backups of the database to restore from, but even that restore didn’t fix the logging in issue, so if you have any problems with logging in, I suggest resetting your password and that should solve it pretty quickly.
As with all Spaces, your account on MCS will work on PLM.
I had to do all of those things.
sorry about that, I’m still mystified how nuking one sub site’s option table broken logins for people that never logged into that site before.
Hey TIKI- I’ve noticed that I am not getting any COMMENT credit. I am closing in on casemods record, and I REALLY want to kick him off of that list. Thanks
If you mean on your profile, that’s a known issue that I have on my issue log.
now that you’ve said something, I guess I can fix it today.
maybe.
Great. Now you can focus on the “nonce is invalid” issue.
where you seeing that?
I mostly thought that I’d get that because I had my script blocker running too tight. When I would temp whitelist a couple more domains and reload, it would not show again (provided I guessed which domain to allow).

I understand the gross concept of segregating content and workload to specialized servers, but after a point, how much is overkill? Like go to one of the cable “news” network websites, and there listing for 47 individual domains (more additional get called as one enables some of the list. I could likely trust the core website, but sixteen digit cloudfront servers that change name every visit sets off the little hairs on the back of my neck.

what I think that’s from is when the nonce is set on www.myconfinedspace.com (root site) and we attempt to comment on one of the sub sites like www.myconfinedspace.com/video/ the plugin thinks it’s on the root site, but it isn’t, it’s on a totally different site.
